Our Story
A Mission Rooted in Lived Experience
Helping Hands Organization was founded by Mariana Drame, who was born and raised in Africa and comes from a Malian family. She witnessed the challenges faced by orphaned and vulnerable children, especially those living with autism and physical disabilities. Seeing the lack of food, healthcare, developmental support, and understanding around autism, she was moved to act. Helping Hands was created to restore dignity, provide essential care, and build inclusive support for children too often overlooked.
